French indie studioHibernian Workshophas today announced thatAstral Ascentwill be officially released onNovember 14th, 2023for PC/Mac/Linuxvia Steam, and forPS5/PS4 (PlayStation Store), and Nintendo Switch (eShop). The challenging rogue-lite has been in Early Access since April last year and will receive its 1.0 update with new content and community-requested additions and improvements.The 1.0 update addsthree new Zodiac bosses to face, includinga final boss with two challenging phases, and amain soundtrack themeby composerDale North(River City Girls, Wizard of Legend), and singerEmi Evans(Nier). The launch will also include the complete soundtrack with orchestrated songs, and full voice-over in English.
New players will also find afully reworked tutorial, as well as hundreds of small bug fixes and improvements. Hibernian Workshop is a French independent game studio based in Angoulême, in the South West of France. The studio is formed of self-taught game developers and artists that were able to turn their passion into their profession thanks to the support of their community through the Dark Devotion Kickstarter campaign.
