Players will dive headfirst into a futuristic game world with a unique pixel art style that revives the magic of classic arcade games using modern means. In an environment filled with precisely animated diverse traps and cunning enemies, you can test your gaming skills as the small robot ZX8000.The game's creator, programmer, and artist, Karel Matějka (also known as KO.DLL), created his first game at the age of twelve. After more than 30 years of working on dozens of major projects (Mafia, Operation Flashpoint, ArmA, Memento Mori, Star Wars: Assault Team, Nemo’s Reef, Toy Story: Smash It), he's a hard-working game lover with a dream to make games the old way again and pay homage to all the great games from the '80s that – like for so many of us – have formed his style and passions.Karel Matějka: “Maybe it is my pixel art passion, the magic of old games boosting players' imagination, or I feel comfortable in the past. All that led me to try making games the old way again – to see if that miraculous '80s magic could still work and if I could share my first 8-bit games experience and feelings with nowadays players. All tracks are composed by musician Martin Linda, whose melodies have been heard in dozens of games. Martin Linda can also boast that as a programmer, he not only created a number of games but is also the creator of the cult multiplatform music application Rytmik, whose history began on the Nintendo DSi pocket and matured over 10 years to the latest version, Rytmik Studio.Through Steam, Bzzzt will be available for computers with Windows, macOS, Linux systems, and for Steam Deck.
